About Enclosed & Furniture: buying guide & FAQs

Enclosed & Furniture at Loaf & Wag: 21 products in stock, $33 to $232, every one shipping free from a US warehouse.

We are a retailer, not a manufacturer. Every product page names the brand that makes that item, so you can compare like for like before you buy.

What to look for

  • Entry height: low-entry pans suit kittens and senior cats; high sides contain scatter for enthusiastic diggers.
  • Enclosed vs open: enclosures hide the box and trap odour, but need enough interior room for your cat to turn around fully.
  • Material: stainless steel will not absorb odour or stain the way plastic does over time, and it does not scratch as easily.
  • Cleaning access: look for a removable lid or a front door — anything you have to disassemble weekly gets cleaned less often.

Frequently asked questions

How big should a litter box be?
The usual rule is one and a half times your cat’s body length, nose to tail base. If your cat hangs over the edge or cannot turn around inside, size up.
Enclosed or open — which is better?
Enclosed boxes control odour and mess and look better in a living space. Some cats dislike the confinement, so if yours is already skittish about the box, an open pan with high sides is the safer choice.
How fast is shipping, and what about returns?
Every order ships free from a US warehouse and arrives within 4–10 business days. Orders placed before 3:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day count that day as business day one. You have a 30-day return window; manufacturing defects are covered free, and other return conditions vary by brand and are listed in our refund policy.
